As usual, excellent interview.
I really like his Momentum Peak Forecaster. Please keep up posted on it.

Great interview, Dominic! I always enjoy Bob Hoye’s perspective and I also find it interesting that his Momentum Peak Forecaster coincides with a two day confirmed Hindenburg Omen cluster on December 14th and 15th.
So many people are tempted into the market at times like this that they refuse to recognize that the DJIA is up over 70% in less than two years. I tell them that the Nikkei fell from 39K to under 7K over 20+ years, however during that time it had half a dozen 50% or higher rallies. Months of gains can be erased in days, so we will see.
Please bring Bob back on after the decline begins in earnest for more of his perspective. Thanks very much!

Bob and Bubb agree too much… but they seem to be getting to their forecasts using different paths.

Bob kept predicting a huge market sell-off sometime in late 2009…ala the post 1929 re-crash. Well, it never happened. Maybe this spring? Perhaps, but timing is too important in investing to rely so heavily on historical data rather than cause and effect related logic.
