Irwin Olian of Sacre Coeur Minerals (CA:SCM) discusses his company, their prospects and takes a wider look at the economic outlook.
Irwin is an entrepreneur with a strong background in finance and law. He graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Economics and received his law degree from Harvard Law School. He has founded and built many companies including Pan African Mining, which was taken out earlier in 2008, African Queen, Enermad, Neo Classics, North American Scientific, Inc., a Los Angeles based manufacturer of radioisotope products for the medical industry, including seeds implanted for the treatment of prostate cancer, which has grown from a startup to a successful NASDAQ company. He also served as Vice President of Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. Irwin’s legal experience includes a position as a Senior Attorney for Warner Bros. Inc. at Burbank Studios for five years, a position as a business affairs executive with talent agency, International Creative Management, and positions as a corporate attorney with Wyman, Bautzer, Rothman & Kuchel in Los Angeles, and Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro in San Francisco.
